Long Island Iced Tea

1. Raspberry Long Island Iced Tea

This is a classic girl drink – I’ve yet to meet a woman who doesn’t like a good Long Island Iced Tea, and especially a raspberry Long Island Iced Tea. It’s a simple drink to make from home. Simply equally mix the ingredients below:

  • Rum
  • Vodka
  • Tequila
  • Gin
  • Triple Sec
  • Raspberry liqueur
  • Sweet and sour Mix

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into an iced filled highball glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.

A golf course that I often play at is right next to the Toronto International Airport; It amazes me to watch these jumbo jets land, and seemingly float in mid-air. I have frequently wondered just how heavy these planes are, and what the largest plane actually is. After a little bit of research, below are the world’s largest airplanes, by takeoff weight.

1. Antonov An-225

An 225 Super Cargo Jet

The An-225 has a maximum takeoff weight of over 1.3 million pounds (600,000 kg) and is the world’s largest plane. The jet was built in the Ukraine when it was part of the Soviet Union, and is used strictly as a cargo transport.

For our first article, we simply couldn’t restrict ourselves to only 10 cars, so below are the 13 most expensive cars in the world as of October 2007.

1. Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000
Bugatti Automobiles SAS, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, owns the title for manufacturing the super performer of the world. The name ´Veyron´ is attributed to the French racing driver Pierre Veyron who won the title ´24 hours of Le Mans´ in 1939 for Bugatti.
